This doctoral capstone project focused on the development and implementation of Rewired in Motion at Mayo Clinic Phoenix as a structured framework to integrate creative, movement-based interventions into occupational therapy practice. The curriculum is informed by occupational therapy principles, neuroplasticity research, somatic movement education, and Laban Movement Analysis. Program sessions are organized around Patterns of Total Body Connectivity - including breath, core-distal, head-tail, upper-lower, body-half, and cross-lateral coordination - using graded movement exploration and individualized music to support whole-body engagement.
